STORM FORCE uses the latest technology to provide instant notification for threatening weather conditions. This provides
the subscriber with the maximum time possible to put a plan into action and notify the people they are responsible for and
make for a safe environment.
A subscriber will
enter their county name and town that they are interested in and/or responsible for. When a WARNING is issued for their
county of choice, they will get an immediate text message informing them that there is a WARNING and until what time.
Here is an Example:
The National Weather Service issues a Severe Thunderstorm Warning
for a users county until 8:30 PM. As a client of STORM FORCE, their cell phone would ring indicating they had a text
message and the message would read:
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING UNTIL 8:30 PM
We eliminate all
the extra text and information and transmit ONLY the important information. There is no need to mention the county as
the subscriber knows the county that they entered.
After the warning is issued county-wide then ONLY the towns that the storm will affect
will get another message informing then when their town will be affected by the storm(s). If the users town will be
hit by the storm, another text message would follow right after. The users cell phone would ring indicating another
text message and that message would say:
STORM WITH HAIL- WINDS OVER 50 MPH- 6:28 PM
IMPORTANT:
Users of STORM FORCE that are in the warned county BUT are NOT in the storms path would NOT get
a second text message and so they do not have to take any action and continue with business as usual. This will eliminate
the over warning as well as saving time and money. Users receiving the second warning can now plan for a storm and expect
it at a certain time. ANY changes in time or intensity of the storm would be transmitted immediately.
